"Hi! My name is Evenrude because when I purr it sounds like I am under water. I was abandoned on Orcas Island. A nice lady took care of me for a while. She gave me to my new owner when one of her cats died. I love to watch the birds out my windows and pester my owner's other cat, Thud. I am hoping one day Thud will decide it is more fun to play with me than to hiss and spit at me. "
