- Getting there: From Interstate 5 North, take Exit 194 to U.S. Highway 2, near Everett, and follow signs for Snohomish. Take the first exit off U.S. 2, marked Snohomish, and proceed 3 miles into the town center.

Attractions

- Blackman House Museum, 118 Avenue B, Snohomish. Open noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday during summer. Admission: $1. (360) 568-5235.

- Old Snohomish Village, on Second Street on the banks of the Pilchuck River. Admission: $1.50 for adults, $1 for children. (360) 568-5235.

- Mukilteo Lighthouse, Mukilteo waterfront.

- Edmonds Museum: 118 Fifth Ave., Edmonds. Open 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Free. (425) 774-0900.

- Rucker Hill Historic District, Everett: Bounded by Laurel, Snohomish, Niles, Warren, Bell, Tulalip, 33rd and 34th Avenues in downtown Everett.
