Stately students
High school students will get a chance to learn more about state government at an open house for the Youth & Government program at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the downtown YMCA, 510 Franklin St. S.E., Olympia.
Participants in the program debate issues, draft proposed legislation and lobby for positions as they prepare for a mock legislative session in May 2004 at the state Capitol. For more information on the open house or the program, call 360-357-6609.
