Army Pvt. Cole F.L. Bennett has graduated from the Network Switching Systems Operator-Maintainer Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga. He is a 2003 graduate of Elma High School. He is the son of Peggy J. Gorman of Elma, and Brian N. Bennett of Bellingham, and the son-in-law of Raymona and David Jones of Elma.

Army Pvt. Ashley M. Ferdinand graduated from the signal support systems specialist advanced individual training course at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga. She is the daughter of Whitney J. Hansen of Kallispell, Mont., and George F. Ferdinand of Yelm.

Air Force Airman Steven A. Johns graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is a 2001 graduate of Tumwater High School and is the son of Sue Huss of Olympia.

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Amber D. Jordan graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is a 2002 graduate of River Ridge High School and is the daughter of Lorna Snyder of Lacey.
