Achievements in category: 1999: Mason County Fair Best of Division Award for charcoal, People's Choice Award for charcoal and three blue ribbons; 2000: First place for the state of Washington nationwide Ladies Auxiliary VFW Young Creative Patriotic Art Award; Peninsula Art Association Mason County High School Art Show Best of Show charcoal, first place, black and white and honorable mention for watercolor; Peninsula Art Association 10th Annual Juried Spring Show first place for drawing, honorable mention for charcoal and honorable mention for watercolor; Mason County Fair Amateur Division grand champion for charcoal, People's Choice Award for charcoal; two champion awards; two Best of Division and five blue ribbons; charcoal piece "Chester" one of 77 pieces of artwork chosen from 500 submissions from 188 adult Northwest artists from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia by Deborah Pain, curator of the Microsoft corporate art collection for exhibit in Port Townsend's P.T. Hudson Pavilion; People's Choice Award; Lt. Governor's Arts Council chose charcoal "Moment" to hang for six months in the legislative office of Lt. Gov. Brad Owen as part of an exhibit entitled "Portrait of a Lady"; was the youngest individual exhibitor to have a storefront window devoted to her art in Olympia Arts Walk, where nine of her pieces were displayed; was invited to display her work in Art Night Over Shelton; 2001: Best of Show for charcoal "Waiting," and first place black and white for Peninsula Art Association Mason County High Schools Art Show.

Other achievements: National Honor Society; Pac-Nine League All-Academic Award; page for the Washington state Senate; 50-hour volunteer pin from Mason General Hospital and 4.0 GPA.

Future plans: Attend a four-year college.
