Achievements in category: Plays clarinet in the band; All-State band three years in a row; All-Northwest band, senior year; Western International Band Conference; PLU honor band for two years; band president; drum major; Sound of America Honor Band; Marrowstand Music Festival; Evergreen Music Festival: Northwest Honor Group; Capital Area Youth Symphony; past choir member; has been in school plays; has taken private lessons for eight years and has taught lessons; also sings, plays sax, trumpet and electric guitar.

Other achievements: Swim team; golf team; Blazer citizens leader; National Honor Society and American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

Future plans: Attend the University of Colorado at Boulder next year; received an Army ROTC scholarship; will play in the wind symphony and be on the crew team.
