Achievements in category: All State Orchestra/ Band; All Northwest Orchestra/ Band, 1999, 2000, 2001; principal clarinet for Capital Area Youth Symphony; private clarinet studio teacher; Seattle Youth Symphony; CAYSA student president; Capital High School band president and gold medalist with Seattle Symphony Orchestra.

Other achievements: WIAA State Solo Competition, 2000; third place clarinet, regional solo and ensemble competition, 1996-2001; superior ratings; winner of 2001 Tacoma Concert Band Student Soloist Competition; winner of 2001 GAYSA Student Solo Competition; clarinetist at Boston University Tanglewood Institute; Marrowstone Music Festival and accepted to New England Conservatory.

Future plans: Orchestral clarinetist in a major symphony orchestra, recording artist, and college teacher. Plans on getting a DMA and majoring in clarinet performance. Will be attending Florida State University and getting bachelor's of music in clarinet.
