The Olympian sent six reporters and four photographers to spend all of Tuesday, July 31, exploring the people and places of Lacey.
That staff included:
- Liona Tannesen, who covers Lacey and courts as her beats, visited Temple Baptist Church, Mayan Family Mexican Restaurant and the Lacey Police.
- Lorrine
Thompson, who covers Thurston County and health care as her
beats, visited Lacey's fast-food restaurants, its parks and its
retail shopping spots.
- Alma Sharpe, who covers education as her beat, visited Wonderwood Park, Saint Martin's Abbey and the Pegues' home.
- Niels
S. Nokkentved, who covers the outdoors as his beat, visited
the Park & Ride lot and the Woods' llama farm.
- Scott Wyland, who covers business and real estate as his beats, visited the Shipwreck Inn and Illuminet.
- Sarah
Jackson, who writes features for South Sound Living and the
Home section, visited Panorama City, Lacey's historic district and
the Christersons' home.
