How to get help
To register for financial aid, victims of the earthquake must call (800) 462-9029.
The phone interview, which takes roughly 15 minutes, starts the ball rolling on the paperwork and inspections required to qualify for federal aid.
In the days ahead, the Federal Emergency Management Agency will set up several disaster recovery centers across Western Washington to receive and process disaster relief requests.
Residents and business owners also should contact city or county officials:
- Olympia: 753-8314
- Lacey: 491-5642
- Tumwater: 754-4170
- Unincorporated and other areas: 754-3360
