A total of 43 other structures -- including homes, businesses, offices and schools -- remained yellow-tagged, or safe only for limited entry.

Quake meeting

The city of Olympia will provide an earthquake update to business owners, employees and residents affected by the quake from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. today at The Washington Center for the Performing Arts, 512 Washington St.

Representatives from FEMA, SBA, HUD, Historic Preservation, the city, building officials, State Employment Security and Intercity Transit will be on hand.

The meeting will be videotaped for future broadcast by TCTV.

Be prepared

The Washington State Emergency Management Division recommends residents keep these supplies on hand in case of future disasters:

-1 gallon of water per person per day

-A purifying agent (16 drops of bleach per gallon)

-A three-day supply of nonperishable food per person

-A first-aid kit

-Matches in waterproof container

-Toilet paper

-Soap

-Plastic garbage bags
