SEATTLE -- After breaking "Shoeless" Joe Jackson's rookie hits record, Mariners sensation Ichiro Suzuki was asked what the mark meant to him.

With a straight face Ichiro replied, "Yes, it has meaning. It means I get a lot of base hits."
