RIGHT NOW

Construction crews are continuing to remove rubble from the old Fourth Avenue bridge and construct a temporary work trestle north of it.

WHAT'S NEXT

Arches that supported the old bridge will be demolished, following removal of the deck and railing.

WHERE WE ARE

Crews will finish demolishing arches during the next four weeks. They also will continue installing underground utilities along the Fourth Avenue hill. The hill will be closed intermittently to accommodate work.
