BRIDGE UPDATE

RIGHT NOW
Construction crews are working to install utility lines on west Fourth Avenue, between Olympic Way and West Bay Drive. Work requires the closure of west Fourth Avenue, between Olympic Way and Sherman Street.
WHAT'S NEXT
Contractor will continue to construct the work trestle.
LONG TERM
A second crane will install coffer dams for the construction of new bridge piers. The contractor plans to pave Fourth Avenue between Olympic Way and West Bay Drive on Jan. 28 or 29. The contractor must re-stripe the roadway prior to implementing a detour Feb. 5.
