BRIDGE UPDATE

FRIDAY
Construction crews continued to build a temporary work trestle and coffer dams.
TODAY
Crews will be finishing a temporary work trestle and will begin demolishing the former bridge's westernmost pier.
LONG-TERM
Crews will finish demolishing the westernmost pier and then remove the coffer dam. Crews will begin forming rebar for the final bridge construction and will continue installing a stormwater drainage system along Fifth Avenue.
