BRIDGE UPDATE

TODAY

Crews will continue to demolish the former bridge's westernmost pier until about 10 p.m.

FRIDAY

Construction crews continued to demolish the former Fourth Avenue bridge's western in-water pier and construct platforms to enable construction of new piers.

LONG-TERM

Crews will demolish the bridge's east in-water pier and remove the coffer dam from the west in-water pier's location. On Wednesday, crews will remove a sewer line that was installed incorrectly in February.
