BRIDGE UPDATE

TODAY

Crews will begin work on Fifth Avenue improvements between Water Street and the KFC building. This work will include the removal of the existing curb, addition of bicycle lanes on both sides of the street from Water Street to the Fifth Avenue dam and addition of a sidewalk along the south side of Fifth Avenue.

LONG-TERM

During the Fifth Avenue work, both lanes of traffic will be open at all times. The city will provide lanes for cyclists in the area where the street is limited to two lanes. Four parking stalls will be removed on the south side of Fifth Avenue at Water Street.
