Bridge Update

WHAT'S NEXT

Now that concrete has been poured for the footing of Pier 8, the westernmost concrete pier, crews will begin to form and tie rebar for the pier abutment and continue building drill platforms for piers 5 and 6. Utility work and sidewalk construction will continue along Fifth Avenue, which will be restricted to two lanes between the bridge and Water Street.
