Home & Garden Television is aggressively counterprogramming the Super Bowl.
On Sunday afternoon and evening, the channel will offer new episodes of its more popular design and decorating shows, along with a first look at HGTV's "Dream Home 2002" at 6 p.m., repeating at 9 p.m.
"Room by Room," airing at 4 p.m., includes a special showing of the Chesapeake Bay "dream home" to be given away in a sweepstakes contest.

Garden Club offers college scholarship
The Olympia Garden Club's scholarship committee is looking for applicants for its Scholastic Achievement Award of $1,000.
Students majoring in horticulture, landscape design, forestry or related subjects such as ecology or botany are eligible.
Applicants must be Thurston County residents and have completed one year of college and be currently enrolled in an accredited college in Washington.
Applicants should submit a scholastic report from high school, a college transcript, a recent photo, letters of recommendation from two professors with master's or doctorate degrees and a paragraph on your aspirations and why you merit the award.
