Olympia Rose Society offers pruning clinic
Rose fans, don't miss the Olympia Rose Society's Spring Pruning Clinic -- a wake-up call for roses.
Meet at 10 a.m. March 9 in the Centennial Rose Garden at 330 Schmidt Place S.W. in Tumwater next to the Schmidt Mansion and the Miller Brewing Co.
Gardeners will learn how to prune roses and remove protective winter mounding. Consulting rosarians will be on hand to answer questions.
