ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Seattle Mariners just keep winning on the road.

Mike Cameron homered twice, the first starting a sixth-inning rally that put Seattle ahead to stay, and the Mariners beat the Texas Rangers 9-4 Saturday night for their sixth straight win -- all away from Safeco Field.

"All we're doing is playing good baseball, just carrying over," Cameron said. "We gave ourselves good opportunities. We got a couple of bloop hits, get a drive, and there you have it."

Seattle set an AL record with 59 road wins last season and has won its first six road games. The Mariners, who also tied a major league record with 116 overall wins in 2001, are off to another fast start at 9-3.

"I wish I had the answer," Mariners left fielder Mark McLemore said. "We just seem to play well on the road. We have guys going up concentrating on getting hits."

The Mariners trailed 4-2 with two outs in the sixth before John Olerud singled and Cameron homered to center. Carlos Guillen, who had three hits, two RBIs and three runs scored, broke the tie with an RBI single.

Cameron added a solo shot, his fourth homer of the season, in the ninth for his sixth career two-homer game.

"I've had two-homer games. I like the fact that we were able to come back and win," Cameron said.

Paul Abbott (1-0), despite a shaky five innings, improved to 6-0 in 13 career appearances against the Rangers. He gave up four runs and seven hits with five strikeouts and two walks.

Joel Pineiro pitched 3 1-3 scoreless innings of relief, striking out five. Arthur Rhodes got the final two outs.

Ruben Sierra, the former Ranger whose first-inning grand slam Friday was the catalyst in a 7-3 Seattle win, doubled after Cameron's homer to chase Hideki Irabu (0-2).

Dan Wilson's third hit, a two-run single off Chris Michalak in the eighth, gave Seattle an 8-4 lead.
