Seattle musicians play Strad Room

Ronald and Roxanna Patterson will present a violin and viola performance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at The Strad Room, in the Olympian Hotel lobby, 116 Legion Way S.E., Olympia.

The Seattle musicians also will teach a free master class at 4 p.m. Saturday. Four advanced students will play for the Pattersons, and the audience is invited to observe their coaching and suggestions.

The Pattersons were featured soloists with the Olympia Symphony Orchestra last season during its Mozart "Symphonie Concertante."

Admission to the concert is $15 for adults and $8 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the Applebaum Violin Shop or by phone at 360-956-1238.

Live music on tap at El Sarape

Sammy Stubble and the Little Shavers will perform at 10 p.m. Friday at the El Sarape Family Mexican Restaurant, 1200 Cooper Point Road, Olympia.

There will be a $2 cover charge.
