SEATTLE -- The first Seattle Sportsmen's Show is coming to the Stadium Exhibition Center Thursday through March 17.
The show features seminars and demonstration by local and national expert anglers, hunters and other outdoors enthusiasts.
The event includes presentations, displays and family attractions, including a 12,000-gallon mobile aquarium, fly-tying theater, sporting dog demonstrations and gold panning for children.
Hours are from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. on March 15, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on March 16 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 17.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 16.

- FISH RECORDS: A new fish world records book will be available next month.
The National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame will issue the 2002 edition in April.
The Hall recognizes more than 125 species of "kept" fish and 63 in the "catch-and-release" category.
The book includes state and foreign records. It is available to Hall members and to nonmembers for $9.
