Road work

Mason County Road Department maintenance this week includes:

- Mechanical brushing: Maggie Lake, Satsop Cloquallum Road and the Union area.

- Drainage work, clean and jet culverts on North Shore Road.

- Road sweeping: Beards Cove and Belfair Tahuya Road.

- Ditching: Bear Creek Dewatto Road, Binns Swiger Loop Road and the Kamilche area.

- Stump removal on Eells Hill Road.

Police radar

- Police radar enforcement: The Olympia Police Department says it will use radar enforcement on Black Lake Boulevard.

- Radar enforcement: The Thurston County Sheriff's Department says it will use radar enforcement on Meridian Road Southeast.

Pass report

- Snoqualmie Pass (I-90): Overcast. Road is bare and dry.

- Stevens Pass (U.S. 2): Cloudy. Road is bare and wet.

- White Pass (U.S. 12): Broken clouds. Road is bare and wet.

- Mount Baker (SR 542): Mixed rain and snow. Road is bare and wet.

- Crystal Mountain (Mount Rainier): Partly cloudy. Road is bare with ice in places. No oversize loads.

- Blewett Pass (U.S. 97): Overcast. Road is bare and wet.

- Satus Pass (U.S. 97): Partly cloudy. Road is bare and dry.
